Hard Apple Cider Cheese Dip

Apples and Cheese, What A Pair!

First, I want to say thank you to Stormalong! Their support and their “Mass Appeal” cider made this cheese dip extra special. Reigning from Sherborn, MA (aka largest refined cider mill in the world (1880-1930)).

If you are looking for some goodies to pair with the cheese, my homemade soft pretzels are a crowd pleaser and easy to make

The Triple Threat…

This isn’t just going to be one cheese, but cheddar, gouda, and cream cheese (even though some people don’t consider it cheese) It is great with green apples, sausages, pretzels, tortilla chips, and anything else really that you normally eat cheese with.

Kitchen Tips

  • You don’t have to have it plain, add jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, or anything else you can think of to add into cheese
  • The cheese may come mealy and that depends on the fat content, too much heat (or not enough), and the amount of acid (aka curdled milk)
