  • seeds/grains
  • brown sugar
  • syrup
  • and more!

Either way, it is all nutritious and delicious. There is no need to ever buy granola when you can make it yourself. You control quantity and have the flavor profile be whatever it is you feel like having. This super easy granola recipe is meant to be almost like a granola canvas and then you add your favorite nuts, fruits, etc. to the finished product.

Granola Fact

  • “The names Granula and Granola were registered trademarks in the late 19th century United States for foods consisting of sweetened whole grain products crumbled and then baked until crisp. The name is now a trademark only in Australia and New Zealand, but is still more commonly called muesli there” – Wikipedia

Kitchen Tips

  • Melt the coconut oil before adding it into the bowl
  • If your honey has crystalized and is kind of thick, make a warm water bath using a pot and the stove set to low. Place the jar of honey in the bath
  • Add the dried fruits, nuts, and seeds after the granola bakes! There are a lot of sugars and oils in this recipe so adding them to the oven while the granola cooks can result in a faster burn rate for everything, and you don’t want the house to smell like burned nuts.
