Reasons for using applesauce in bread

  • Moisture: it makes it softer and preventing it from becoming dry.
  • Flavor: it adds a subtle sweetness and flavor to the bread, enhancing its taste.

Use with caution as it can affect the texture and rise of the bread. Bread can be denser and less fluffy compared to using oil or butter.

NOTES

  • Store cooled bread, well wrapped, at room temperature for several days.
  • You can freeze the bread for longer storage.
