Classic Buttercream Frosting Recipe
A classic buttercream that pairs well with any dessert or pastry
- 140 grams Powdered Sugar
- 46 grams Unsalted Butter (softened)
- 3 grams Vanilla Flavoring or Extract
- 1 teaspoons Cold water, or enough to make the filling cohesive

In a medium bowl, hand mix the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt *see notes for texture

Once all the ingredients are mixed together (and still a little chunky), add a 0.5 teaspoon of cold water at a time

If not using immediately, store in the fridge, and when ready, bring out to the room temperature
- *At first the frosting will be a bit chunky and dry, and that is okay
